5 MUST DO THINGS ON EXAM DAY

  1. Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Fuel your brain with slow-release energy foods like oats, nuts, fruits and porridge. A nutritious breakfast improves concentration, memory recall and mental stamina during long exam hours. Avoid sugary snacks and oily foods that may cause energy crashes or discomfort. Drink enough water to stay hydrated and alert.

2. Pack and Check Essentials Early: Prepare your school bag the night before. Keep pens, pencils, eraser, scale, calculator (if allowed), admit card/ID, and a water bottle ready. Double-check everything in the morning to avoid panic. Being organized reduces stress and builds confidence before leaving home

3. Avoid Last-Minute Cramming: Do not start new topics on the exam morning. Overloading your brain can create confusion and
anxiety. Lightly review key formulas or important points if needed. Trust your preparation and focus on staying calm and positive.

4. Arrive Early and Stay Calm: Reach the exam center at least 20–30 minutes early. Use the extra time to settle down, take deep breaths, and mentally prepare yourself. Avoid stressful discussions with classmates about difficult topics. A calm mind improves clarity and performance.

5. Read Instructions Thoroughly: Spend the first few minutes reading the entire question paper carefully. Understand compulsory and optional sections before you begin writing. Plan your time wisely according to marks allotted. Careful reading prevents avoidable mistakes and helps you score better.
